ATS score checker
Know your ATS score before recruiters do.
A deterministic scoring engine plus LLM explanation of exactly what to fix — down to missing keywords and weak phrasing.
0–100 score · keyword gaps · parser-safe formatting

What it does
A score you canactually act on.
Paste a job posting, pick a CV, run the check. A deterministic engine scores five things — hard skills, competencies, keywords, experience and CV quality — and the same CV against the same posting gives the same number every time.
The score is only the start. Every check comes with a plain-English explanation of why it scored that way and what to change. Fix, re-run, compare versions side by side. The app sorts the result into four tiers — 80+, 60–79, 40–59 and below 40 — and the breakdown says which part cost you the points.
- Deterministic scoring plus an LLM explanation, not a regex
- Four score tiers, from send-it to needs-a-rewrite
- Matched and missing requirements, listed in full
- Gaps from your profile: skills you have that this CV does not show
- Categorised fixes, each with the impact it would have

The scoring
One hundred points, split five ways.
The score is deterministic: the same CV against the same posting gives the same number every time. Here is where the points come from.

Score weighting
100 points
- Hard skills
- 35
- The tools and technologies the posting names as required, then as preferred.
- Keywords
- 25
- The posting's own language, deduplicated against skills already counted.
- Experience
- 20
- Years and seniority against what the role asks for.
- Quality
- 15
- Structure a parser can read: headings, dates, contact block, no text in images.
- Competencies
- 5
- Behavioural requirements — weighted conservatively, because they are read, not parsed.
Four bands, one decision.
The number matters less than what you do next. These are the four tiers the app itself uses.
- 80–100
Excellent
Send it. Remaining gaps are refinements, not blockers.
- 60–79
High
Competitive. Fix the top two or three misses and it moves up a band.
- 40–59
Medium
The posting wants things this CV does not show. Worth a tailored pass.
- 0–39
Low
Either the wrong role, or a CV a parser cannot read. The breakdown says which.
Matched and missing
Two lists, and the second one is the useful one.
Every requirement in the posting is checked against your CV and lands in one of two columns. Nothing is scored that is not shown to you.
Found in your CV
- Python — named in three roles
- PostgreSQL — named, with scale
- REST API design
- Team leadership — 4 direct reports
- English, professional
Not found
- Kubernetes — required
- Terraform — preferred
- CI/CD ownership
- German, B2 — preferred
Missing does not always mean absent. If you have it and the CV does not say so, that is the fix.
Already in your profile
Some of what's missing, you already told us.
The checker also reads your background summary and your knowledge entries. When a requirement is missing from this CV but present somewhere in your profile, it says so — and where it found it. Those are the fastest points on the board.
