Interview prep
Rehearse with an AI HR that actually scores you.
Practice mode gives you questions and rubric feedback on every answer. Simulation drops you into a live conversation with an AI interviewer you choose — and who pushes back.
Voice or typed · Live captions · Scored 0–100 · EN · TR · DE

What it does
Rehearse the questionsbefore they are asked.
Two modes. Practice — card-based Q&A with STAR-style scoring per answer. Simulation — real-time conversation with an AI interviewer that asks follow-ups, pushes back, and scores you at the end.
Both cover behavioural, technical, situational and culture-fit questions. You speak your answer through your browser's own speech recognition in either mode; in simulation the interviewer speaks back in a named neural voice, streamed from our server.
- Practice: rubric score and written feedback on every answer
- Simulation: live voice conversation, HR or technical round
- Company-specific questions from your position research
- Multi-language — practice in EN, TR, or DE
Two modes
Rehearse question by question, or sit the whole thing.
The same background feeds both. One is a card you can take at your own pace; the other does not wait for you.
Practice
One question at a time
A question appears, you answer, and the coach scores it against a rubric before the next one. Nothing is timed.
- Written or spoken answers
- Rubric score and specific feedback per answer
- Re-answer any question as often as you like
- Ask for deeper coaching, or a model answer, on any answer
Four practice types: behavioural, technical, situational, culture fit.
Simulation · Pro
A conversation that keeps going
An AI HR interviewer asks, reacts to what you actually said, and follows up — streamed, in real time, with voice on both sides if you want it.
- Speech in, speech out — or type if you prefer
- Follow-ups based on your previous answer
- Full transcript and scoring at the end
- Label the round — “First call”, “Panel” — and it stays with the position
Two simulation types: HR interview and technical.
How long do you want to talk?
Quick
~5 minutes
5–8 turns
Balanced
~12 minutes
10–14 turns
Deep dive
~25 minutes
16–22 turns
Practice has no clock — you pick 3, 5, 8 or 10 questions and answer them at your own pace. Length is a simulation choice, and the interviewer closes the conversation naturally inside the range you picked.
Choose your interviewer
Eight interviewers per language, in four temperaments.
Warm up with a recruiter who puts you at ease, then face the manager who pushes back. Each is an AI interviewer with a fixed style and its own voice — you pick before the simulation starts. One of each style is shown here.

Sarah Johnson
Senior Recruiter
FRIENDLY
“Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm looking forward to our conversation today.”
Voice: Ava — Caring

Michael Chen
Engineering Manager
CHALLENGING
“Hello, I'm Michael. I'd like to walk through some specifics with you today.”
Voice: Christopher — Authoritative

Emma Rivera
Senior Engineer
DIRECT
“Hi, I'm Emma — let's jump straight into a project you've worked on.”
Voice: Emma — Cheerful

Jenny Thompson
People & Culture Lead
WARM
“Hi, I'm Jenny. I'd love to hear about what motivates you and how you work with teams.”
Voice: Jenny — Considerate
Twenty-four in total across English, Turkish and German. The interviewer speaks and scores in the language you practise in, which makes it the fastest way to rehearse a second-language interview before the real call.
The feedback
A score you can argue with.
Every answer is scored against a named rubric rather than a vibe, so you can see which part was weak and fix that part. This is the behavioural rubric — technical and situational use their own.
- STAR structure · 25
- Did the answer have a situation, a task, an action and a result — in that order?
- Relevance · 25
- Did it answer the question that was asked, or a nearby one you were readier for?
- Impact and metrics · 25
- Is there a number, a scale, an outcome — or does it stop at what you did?
- Communication · 25
- Clear, concise, professional. Length is not the same as substance.
Who it's for
Final-round prep
The recruiter said 'behavioural deep-dive'. Run 3 simulation rounds the night before. CVVia generates company-specific questions and grades your answers.
Technical interview rehearsal
System design or coding rounds — CVVia asks, listens, and scores clarity + structure. Catch rambling before the real interviewer does.
Language practice
Applying in your second language? Run practice mode in TR or DE to build fluency and confidence with common question patterns.
