Yes. The free plan is permanent and generous enough for most job seekers applying to a handful of positions per month. No credit card required, no trial that ends. A paid Pro plan is coming soon for power users.

Where does my data go? Is it used to train AI?

Accepted Answer

Your data lives on our German-hosted infrastructure. CV and cover letter content is processed through OpenAI's and Anthropic's APIs — both providers' API terms state that API requests are not used to train their models by default. We don't sell your data, share it with third parties, or train any models on it ourselves. You can delete your account and all data at any time.

Does CVVia support my language?

Currently English, Turkish, and German. The AI generates content in your preferred language and respects regional conventions — date formats, address formats, photo norms.

Absolutely. Every CV and cover letter is fully editable. For cover letters we have a human-in-the-loop AI editor — you can approve or reject individual paragraph suggestions. For CVs, you have a visual editor with theme switching and live PDF preview.

No — CVVia runs in your browser. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Your documents are synced in the cloud so you can continue from any device.

We test against every common ATS checkpoint, covering the systems most companies use — Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo, iCIMS, and SmartRecruiters among others. The scoring engine flags issues like keyword density, format compatibility, and section structure before you submit.

How does the company research actually work?

CVVia reads public sources only — the company's careers page, recent news, and engineering or product blogs where available. We never touch your inbox or paid databases. The result is a brief tailored to what the team actually cares about, not generic boilerplate.

Can I export my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every generated CV and cover letter is downloadable as PDF or DOCX. Your full profile and uploaded documents can be exported as a JSON archive from Settings → Data export — useful for backup or moving to another tool.

How do I delete my account?

Accepted Answer

Go to Settings → Privacy → Delete my account. This permanently removes all your documents, generated materials, and personal data within 30 days, as required by GDPR.
