— About
We build tools that respect your time — and your data.
CVVia started as a weekend project to stop rewriting the same cover letter. It grew into a focused product for a simple reason: the job search deserves better software.
— 01 · Mission
Apply with less effort. Land with more confidence.
Applicant tracking systems scan for keywords, recruiters skim in seconds, and generic AI content is obvious from ten feet away. We believe a thoughtful, well-researched application should not take four hours to write — and that your private data should never pay the bill.
- Human in charge
- The AI drafts, you decide. Every suggestion is editable, every output is yours.
- Privacy by default
- Your data lives in Germany, never trains third-party models, and leaves whenever you ask.
- Work that travels
- EN · TR · DE output that respects local hiring conventions — not a translated checklist.

What we optimize for
- 01
Ship clarity, not noise
Every feature earns its place. If it does not move a real job search forward, it does not ship.
- 02
Respect the reader
Recruiters read thousands of applications. We help you write the one they remember — not the one that sounds like a bot.
- 03
Invite pushback
We read every email from users. If something is broken or wrong, tell us — that is how the product gets better.
- 04
Boring infrastructure
Reliability beats cleverness. PostgreSQL, Redis, simple queues, observable everything.

How we got here
CVVia started in late 2024 after a frustrating weekend spent tailoring a CV and cover letter for a single application — only to be rejected because the ATS could not parse the PDF.
The first prototype was a script that read a job description, rewrote the CV's highlights, and output a clean YAML template. It worked. We shared it with a handful of friends, then a handful of strangers, and the waitlist started filling itself.
Two years later, CVVia is a focused application platform: base CV, tailored CV, cover letter, ATS checker, interview practice, job discovery. All built on the same opinion — your time matters, your data is yours, and the software should respect both.
