Is CVVia really free?

Yes. The free plan is generous enough for most job seekers applying to a handful of positions per month. No credit card required, no trial that ends. Pro plans are available for power users who need higher limits.

Where does my data go? Is it used to train AI?

Your data lives on our German-hosted infrastructure. CV and cover letter content is processed through OpenAI's and Anthropic's APIs — both providers' API terms state that API requests are not used to train their models by default. We don't sell your data, share it with third parties, or train any models on it ourselves. You can delete your account and all data at any time.

Does CVVia support my language?

Currently English, Turkish, and German. The AI generates content in your preferred language and respects regional conventions — date formats, address formats, photo norms.

What makes CVVia different from ChatGPT or other AI tools?

Three things: (1) it knows your full professional history via a structured profile, not just a chat context; (2) it researches the company, not just the job description; (3) it outputs formats built to pass applicant tracking systems — tested against common ATS checkpoints.

Can I edit what the AI generates?

Absolutely. Every CV and cover letter is fully editable. For cover letters the AI editor is human-in-the-loop: it proposes a rewritten draft with a summary of what changed, and nothing lands until you approve it. For CVs, you have a visual editor and can ask the AI to improve one section at a time.

Do I need to install anything?

No — CVVia runs in your browser. Works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Your documents are synced in the cloud so you can continue from any device.

Aleph Alpha's focus on running high-throughput, low-latency inference for large language models matches the work I have been building in production. At Delivery Hero I lead the Partner Support Triage Assistant, a retrieval-augmented system routing about 12,000 weekly tickets across 14 markets; at Zalando I owned the ranking service behind size and fit recommendations for 38 million monthly customers. Across both roles the work has been the same at its core: take an ambiguous problem, turn it into a usable system, and make sure it holds when real users depend on it.
